Three hostages accidentally killed by Israeli troops were staying in a building on which banners were hung reading: "SOS", IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari has said.

Meanwhile, the IDF has said its troops discovered a tunnel shaft used by Hamas fighters inside a children's room in northern Gaza.
