Ahead of Rishi Sunak's speech on maths teaching, the Education Secretary has told Sky News that the government has "revolutionised" maths teaching, but now they want to go further.

Responding to a statement by then education minister Liz Truss in 2012 that we are playing "catch-up" on maths teaching, Gillian Keegan insisted the government has addressed the key problems

First though, she addressed the deaths of horses at the Grand National and the nurses' strikes.
