Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the 13th match of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the first game of the double-header Sunday it's Gujarat Titans (GT) taking on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Key Players to Watch Out For: Sai Sudharsan (GT): The young left-hander has started the tournament on a great note scoring runs in both the opening matches. Sai Sudhrasan has scored 84 runs in the two matches and is looking in good touch. Andre Russell (KKR): The West Indian all-rounder has done a great job against the Titans in the last season. Andre Russell scored 48 runs and picked up four wickets in this clash.

Shubman Gill (GT): The young Indian opener has been in good touch in this tournament. Shubman Gill started the tournament with 63 runs off 36 balls against CSK in the tournament opener. Although he failed to continue his form Gill is a vital batter for his franchise. Rinku Singh (KKR): The left-handed middle-order batter scored runs in the last match. Rinku Singh also looked on good touch in IPL 2022 against Gujarat Titans.

Hardik Pandya (GT): IPL 2023 has not started off on a good note for the Titans skipper. But in IPL 2022 Hardik Pandya played a useful knock of 67 runs against KKR. He will be a crucial cog in GT's batting mechanism. Head-to-Head (GT vs KKR): In the only match these two sides have played against each other the Hardik Pandya-led side came out victorious.

Nitish Rana (Kolkata Knight Riders Captain): "We would have batted first as well. With the pitch and weather going here I thought batting first and putting runs on the board would have been better. If we batted first then it would have taken two hours and it would have helped the pitch to get more drier. But now we are bowling first nothing bad as we will look to do well. Two changes. Tim Southee is out and Lockie Ferguson comes in. Mandy (Mandeep Singh) is also out and Jagadeesan comes in."

Rashid Khan (Gujarat Titans Captain): "We will bat first and put the runs on the board. Hardik is unwell. We don't want to take risk and he will be fine soon. It's a fresh wicket and we would want to put the runs on the board. The wicket looks good. Hope to go well. We have made one change. Vijay Shankar comes in place of Hardik Pandya."

Pitch Report (Rohan Gavaskar and Matthew Hayden): "We are here at the magnificent Narendra Modi Stadium and what a fabulous day it is. The sun is out and there is a slight breeze in the air. This is the fresh wicket that is being used today and this is the second match to be played here this season. Let's have a look at the ground dimensions- to my right it's 65m and to my left it is 62m. Straight down the ground is 73m. I have a strong feeling that the batters might target the side boundaries. I tell you what it won't be easy dealing with the spinners.

In the last game played here GT spinner Rashid Khan and CSK spinners Mitchell Santner and Ravindra Jadeja created problems for batters and were very economical in ruling the game. (Hayden)- For me it looks like an absolutely beautiful batting wicket. If you look at some patches on this pitch it looks like it will turn but as I grace my hands over here it looks like a smooth face of a newborn child. It is absolutely sheeny. Although some patches might help the spinners I also think that seam bowlers will have a terrific day because there is plenty of grass as well. Look out for Tim Southee Lockie Ferguson and Mohammed Shami they will enjoy bowling here. Other than that it is a belter for batting."
