Out of the ten teams in IPL there are just two who are yet to get a win in the tournament. It's Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. And both sides will be locking horns against each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium Delhi. The finalist of IPL 2020 will be up there for an important clash as both sides will be hunting for their first victory in the tournament. Head to Head stats: Out of the 32 matches played between the two teams Mumbai Indians have won 17 while the Delhi Capitals won 15 games.

Team Preview (Mumbai Indians): The Ambani-owned franchise haven't started the tournament in the best possible way. They were steamrolled by RCB in their season opener followed by a loss against Chennai Super Kings. The top-order batting failed in the first match followed by a brisk start in their second game. Tilak Varma has been one of the positives in the middle order with patchy scores from Nehal Wahdera and Tim David.

Speak about bowling Jasprit Bumrah's absence is being felt. Arshad Khan went for runs on the last day and they were devoid of Jofra Archer. Cameron Green has been okayish with Jason Behrendorff turning out decent. Kumar Kartikeya was sharp with his spin and Piyush Chawla felt to live up to the expectations. Riley Meredith was announced as the replacement for the injured Jhye Richardson and he might be in the playing XI in the upcoming encounter.

Team Preview (Delhi Capitals): The Capitals kickstarted the competition with a loss against the Lucknow Super Giants by 50 runs. In their next game at home Gujarat Titans chased down 162 runs and gave them a taste of back-to-back two losses. Just when the Delhi-based franchise needed to bounce back they incurred another setback after a loss against the Rajasthan Royals by 57 runs.

The bowling department has been overdependent on Anrich Nortje and Kuldeep Yadav. While Khaleel Ahmed is yet to prove his mettle Mukesh Kumar has evaporated as an impressive bowler. Talk about the batting department David Warner has scored runs for his team but the strike rate has been an issue. Apart from him other batters failed to gel up. Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav has batted in patches.

Delhi Capitals Injured/Unavailable: Khaleel Ahmed who was ruled out with an injury mid-way through the previous game remains uncertain. The team management is awaiting scan reports to take a final call on the pacer's availability. Tactics & Matchups: Axar Patel could be used early on given his high success against Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav. The left-arm spinner had kept both the batters in check allowing them to score at a strike rate of only 83 and 86 respectively.

Mumbai Indians Injured/Unavailable: Even as Jofra Archer missed the game due to a niggle Cameron Green confirmed that all the players are available for the game. Tactics & Matchups: Even as David Warner has struggled to score at a good rate he is the only Delhi Capitals batter to be among runs with two slow half-centuries to his credit. Jofra Archer has had a successful one-on-one battle with both Warner and Prithvi Shaw dismissing them twice each in 19 and 16 balls respectively in the IPL and conceding at less than run-a-ball.

What to expect: Only one game has been played at the venue so far this season where the hosts crumbled with the bat. They did try to control with the ball but without much success as Gujarat Titans looked comfortable to chase down totals in the range of 180-190 rather easily.
