Home Secretary Suella Braverman has declined to be drawn on the details of Rishi Sunak's speech on green policies expected this week.

It comes amid an almighty row in the Conservative Party after a leak last night revealed the prime minister is expected to row back on some net zero policies.

Ms Braverman said: 'Fundamentally, we're not going to save the planet by bankrupting the British people.'
