Musician, socialist and activist Billy Bragg has said he would prefer "a ceremonial monarchy" and he does not think it should be a "part of the constitution".

Mr Bragg says people being invited to swear allegiance to the King sounds like "something out of Game Of Thrones" and called it a "high-risk strategy".

King Charles will be crowned on Saturday 6 May 2023.
