Suella Braverman says the Court of Appeal's decision on the government's Rwanda policy is "disappointing for the majority of the British people" who have "repeatedly voted for controlled migration".

The Home Secretary described the British public as "compassionate, reasonable and fair-minded" but said they are "not naive".

It comes after campaigners and asylum seekers won a challenge over the government's planned Rwanda deportation scheme.
