Alleged comments about Labour's Diane Abbott were 'clearly racist'

Conservative MP Marcus Fysh has told Sky News he stands in "solidarity' with the Labour MP Diane Abbott over alleged comments made about her by a Tory donor.

Mr Fysh said the reported comments by Tory donor Frank Hester were "racist and wrong".

Frank Hester allegedly said Ms Abbott made him "want to hate all black women" and that the politician "should be shot".

Police are investigating the comments.
