A man set himself on fire outside the courthouse of former President Donald Trump's "hush money" trial in Manhattan, New York City on Friday morning. Multiple witnesses watched and described the scene for reporters in the aftermath.

The man is in critical condition, identified as Max Azzarello, and apparently has posted a politically charged manifesto and self-immolated himself to make a political statement outside the courtroom.
