Labour has triumphed in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election, winning the seat from the SNP - with Sir Keir Starmer hailing it a "seismic result" for his party.

First minister of Scotland Humza Yousaf says his party is ready to "work their socks off", adding they will "take the fight to Labour".
