At least three people have died after Florida and Georgia were battered by a powerful hurricane.

Now downgraded to a tropical storm, Idalia is threatening to bring flash flooding to North Carolina.

Meanwhile, residents in Florida and Georgia are assessing the damage caused by the storm.
