TMZ says it has new allegations that the Gilgo Beach serial murders were covered up for years by the police chief over the case.

We sat down with TMZ founder Harvey Levin, who says his team uncovered that the chief at the time of these murders was also engaging in activities with prostitutes and did not want his doings to come out.
