Supermarkets cleared of 'profiteering', but told to make their pricing 'clearer'

The Competition and Markets Authority has told supermarkets that they need to make their pricing clearer, or risk enforcement action.

They said prices should fall too but cleared shops of profiteering, saying that profit margins have fallen and consumers have been protected from the full rise in costs.
