The boss of supermarket chain Iceland has chided Rishi Sunak for celebrating the slowing down of inflation.

Richard Walker said it was "unedifying to see Rishi [Sunak] celebrating that he has single-handedly halved inflation when, of course, we know it's nothing to do with him - it's the Bank of England and global economic factors".

He added that his customers were still caught in a cost of living crisis.
