Sir Keir Starmer says he supports the government's decision to launch attacks on Houthi rebels in Yemen.

The Labour leader said action needed to be taken to stop the Iran-backed group attacking Western ships in the Red Sea.

The UK and the US launched missile strikes overnight following several days of assaults, which included the Iranian navy seizing a US-linked oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman on Thursday.
