Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis have vowed retaliation after US and UK military strikes targeted them in response to several attacks on ships in the Red Sea.

The missile strikes came after the West warned the group to stop attacking shipping.

Houthi rebels based in Yemen have targeted ships linked to or travelling to Israel in what they said was a campaign of support for Palestinians in Gaza.
