Israel and Hamas agreed to extend their truce deal for two more days, according to Qatar. Right now dozens of hostages are still in captivity. Qatar and Egypt have been lead mediators to help extend a cease-fire in Gaza. Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid Al Ansary made the announcement on X earlier on Monday. Israel says for every ten hostages released, they will extend the cease-fire by one day.
