Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is urging that "local officials" who have no affiliation with Hamas, or any terror group, should be governing Gaza, once the war is over. Netanyahu presented his plan to the Security Cabinet, though the Palestinian Authority rejected it. The Israeli War Cabinet has also approved sending a delegation to Paris to discuss a deal that would free the remaining hostages taken captive on October 7.
