Avi Melamed is a former Israeli intelligence official who went on to serve as deputy and then as senior Arab affairs adviser to Jerusalem Mayors Teddy Kollek and Ehud Olmert, operating as a negotiator during the first and second intifadas. He joins LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow to break down the latest. A temporary truce ceasefire deal will bring forth the release of dozens of people taken hostage during Hamas' raid on Israel. The agreement includes a four day pause on Thursday. The deal was brokered by Qatar, the United States, and Egypt. According to Qatar, Hamas is set to release 50 hostages in exchange for 150 Palestinian prisoners being held by Israel. The hostages will be released in groups throughout the ceasefire.
