Hawaii fires: Officials discourage tourism & travel to Maui, Lahaina

As of Aug. 10th, least 53 people are dead and search efforts are still underway amid devastating wildfires on the Hawaiian islands.

The hardest hit areas appear to be in Maui, specifically the town of Lahaina. The mayor of Maui said the town is "all gone."

Thousands of structures were damaged or destroyed and the number of injuries is still unclear.
