Manuel Rocha was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Friday relating to federal charges that he worked as an agent for a foreign government while in his role as a US diplomat. Rocha, the former US ambassador to Bolivia, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy in order to avoid going to trial. Prosecutors say the former diplomat acted as a covert agent of Cuba’s intelligence services for decades.
