Tony Montalto, who's daughter Gina was killed in the Parkland school shooting, reacted to Scot Peterson's acquittal of felony child neglect and other charges for failing to act during the shooting at at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018.
"For our families we still feel he should be haunted everyday by his failure to act," Montalto said. "I know that he contributed to the deaths of my daughter Gina, her school mates, and their teachers."
"This case was about the law," Montalto added. "It was not about whether or not his actions were cowardly."
