The UK COVID-19 Inquiry has been set up to examine the UK's response to and impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Public hearings are beginning, and will span multiple modules across years.

Today's agenda includes evidence from Professor David Heymann, Bruce Mann and Professor David Alexander.

Module one refers to resilience and preparedness, and is expected to last for six weeks.
