Three western states of California, Arizona and Nevada proposed a deal Monday that would cut their water use from the Colorado River over the next three years.
The plan would conserve an additional 3 million acre-feet of water from the 1,450-mile river that provides water to 40 million people through 2026.
University of Nevada Reno professor, Dr. Elizabeth Koebele, joined LiveNOW's Andy Mac to discuss the new plan to conserve more water.
