Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has defended the missile strikes in the Red Sea and said that "because of the action that we have taken, I believe it's less likely that we'll have these interruptions to shipping."

He also said he's confident that UK military action will continue to deter fighters from continuing to attack cargo ships.
