Increasing numbers of babies in the UK are being put in danger because their parents cannot afford the high cost of baby formula milk.

Tubs now range from £9 to £19.

It’s prompted parents to steal formula milk, use condensed milk instead or buy open second hand tubs of the powdered milk online.

The British Pregnancy Advice Service has told Sky News' Tom Parmenter that the issue is a scandal putting the UK on the brink of a public health crisis.
