Sky News' military analyst Sean Bell says that Israeli government assertions that the conflict in Gaza is at "the beginning of the end" do not match up with facts on the ground.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is doing his best to "appease" regional leaders to prevent the situation escalating, in a tense fourth visit to the region.

King Abdullah of Jordan has also warned of "catastrophic consequences" if Israeli strikes on Gaza continue, says Sean Bell.
