The funeral of Wagner group leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has taken place in a St Petersburg cemetery according to reports from the group's press service.

President Vladimir Putin did not attend the event, and the Kremlin has denied speculation that it was behind the blast on a private jet which killed the mercenary leader and all of those on board.
