Sky's Sophy Ridge asks Shadow Attorney General Emily Thornberry if Labour would spend more on Defence if they won the next election.

However Ms Thornberry said the party's first job would be ensuring existing money is not being wasted before spending any further money.

It comes after General Sir Patrick Sanders warned members of the British public they may have to be called up to fight in the event of a war because the military is too small.
