Jonathan Reynolds, the shadow business secretary, has described Suella Braverman as "out of control" after she accused the Met Police of bias in a newspaper article.

He told Sky News: "It's just genuinely out of control. It's irresponsible, its divisive, and fundamentally it is so obvious what is going on.

Writing in The Times newspaper, the home secretary suggested "some of Saturday's march group organisers have links to terrorist groups, including Hamas".
