White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and national security adviser Jake Sullivan are taking questions a day after House Republicans impeached DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas by one vote over his handling of the migrant crisis. The briefing also comes after President Biden implored House Speaker Mike Johnson to bring a Senate-passed foreign aid bill that includes money for Ukraine and Israel to the floor for a vote.
