Israeli government spokesperson Eylon Levy has told Sky's Kay Burley he is "hopeful" about the release of hostages under the truce agreement after it was delayed by 24 hours.

"We will continue to put military pressure on Hamas so we can bring all the hostages home," he said.

When asked about what happens after the hostages are freed, Mr Levy replied "we will continue our campaign to destroy Hamas".
