Police have warned the public not to approach a man being hunted over a chemical attack on a woman and two girls in south London.

The suspect, named as Abdul Shokoor Ezedi, is a former asylum seeker who had his application denied twice before being granted the right to stay, Sky News understands.

Abdul Shokoor Ezedi was convicted of a sexual offence in Newcastle in 2018, Sky News understands.
