A Senate hearing slated for 9:30AM ET on Tuesday will probe U.S. officials on funding and aid sent to Gaza following the attack by Hamas earlier this month.

Almost two weeks ago, President Biden announced the U.S. would provide $100 million in "humanitarian assistance" for the Palestinian people in Gaza and in the West Bank, pledging it would be kept out of the hands of Hamas, the terrorist organization that rules Gaza.

The hearing includes testimony from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

Several Republican lawmakers, including Senators Rick Scott and Marsha Blackburn, have called for an end to any funding to Gaza at least until all hostages taken during the October 7 attack on Israel have been released.
