A large pro-Palestinian protest broke out at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Dozens were arrested near Alumni Park as LAPD officers used zip ties to detain protesters for trespassing.

The "Gaza Solidarity Occupation" demonstration at USC comes as colleges across the U.S. like Columbia University, NYU and Yale have in recent days joined in support of Palestinians in the Israel-Hamas war.
