Today on Breakfast: Anna Jones speaks to education secretary Gillian Keegan about pay rises for public sector workers. In an exclusive interview with Sky News, the minister also shared her thoughts on the level of school absences. Ms Keegan called it a crisis and suggested that headteachers should drive to the homes of absent pupils and bring them to school.

Plus, the TUC's general secretary Paul Nowak discusses the announcement made by Rishi Sunak that millions of public sector workers will receive a pay rise after months of strikes.
