Wandsworth prison 'really needs closing', says chief inspector of prisons

Chief inspector of prisons Charlie Taylor has told politics hub with Sophy Ridge that a lack of staff at Wandsworth prison may have been why terror suspect Daniel Abed Khalife was able to escape.

Mr Taylor said "more money should be spent on prisoner rehabilitation", adding "if we do want people to come out from prison and to stop offending, then we need to do more for them while they're locked up."
