Live from Paju, South Korea, overlooking the North side of the inter-Korean border, after U.S. soldier Travis King fled across the border from South Korea. He is the first American known to be detained in the North in nearly five years.

The 23-year-old Private Second Class was reportedly facing disciplinary action by the US military when he crossed into the secretive country, US officials said.

North Korea has remained silent about the detention of Mr King, who is the first American held there in nearly five years.
