Police in Cranston, Rhode Island, have released bodycam footage showing the arrest of Republican City Council member Matthew Reilly.

He was found asleep in his car holding what he admitted was a crack pipe.

Under questioning he claimed that he had "dozed off" in the car and had smoked crack earlier "at his home", but had not done so in his car.
