US President Joe Biden delivers remarks paying respects to the victims of last week’s attack that killed 18 people, and thanks the first responders, nurses, and others on the frontline of the response.

Robert Card, the 40-year-old army reservist at the centre of the shooting, was found dead on Friday night after two days of fear and terror in the city of Lewiston

The community there was left devastated as 18 people - including a 14-year-old boy - were killed in the rampage at a bowling alley and a bar a short distance away.
