Ukraine war: Why it isn't back to 'normal life' for Russia's border towns

Until the war broke out, the town of Shebekino in Russia’s Belgorod region was an average border settlement centred around agriculture and a nearby pasta factory.

But since June the town has become known as the Russian settlement bearing the brunt of its war in Ukraine.

Russian authorities are keen to share how that the town is recovering from attacks, while issuing daily shelling reports at the same time - leaving residents confused.

Experts have told Sky News that the ongoing situation could be hardening pro-war sentiment in the region.
