The foreign minister of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, has offered his congratulations to Finland on the country formally joining the NATO alliance.

Mr Kuleba said his country had the same goal, and that there was "no better strategic solution" to Russian aggression than Ukraine becoming a member.
