Shadow chief secretary to the Treasury Darren Jones speaks on the racism row, Hamas and the soon-to-be government's new definition of extremism.

The Labour MP said the new definition doesn't "go far enough" and the countering hateful extremism strategy "needs to be updated".

The government has updated the definition as part of a drive to clamp down on the Islamist and far-right extremism that has intensified in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war.
