The search for the missing submersible used to take tourists to see the wreckage of the Titanic has now covered 7,600 square miles, the U.S. Coast Guard says.
The five-person submersible was reported overdue Sunday night some 435 miles south of St. John's, Newfoundland.
The U.S. Coast Guard held a briefing on Tuesday afternoon in Boston and said the vessel should have 40 hours of oxygen left.
