Tens of thousands of children have disappeared from school and authorities have no idea where they are, figures seen by Sky News can reveal.

Last year a staggering 94,900 children went missing at some point during the 2021/22 academic year.

Sky's People and Politics Correspondent Nick Martin had access to Blackpool Council's Pupil Welfare Service to see the work involved in tracking these children down.
