The prime minister has been criticised for comments made in the Commons about Sir Keir Starmer's stance on transgender issues, while the mother of murdered Brianna Ghey was in parliament.

Minister for Crime and Policing Chris Philip has defended Rishi Sunak's comments, saying during the exchange "the prime minister was clearly talking about Keir Starmer's flip-flops and U-turns on all issues."

He spoke to Sky's Kay Burley on Breakfast.
