The UK has condemned Russia after a critic of President Putin - who holds dual Russian-British nationality - was jailed for 25 years.

Vladimir Kara-Murza was convicted on charges of treason and spreading false information about the Russian military in Ukraine. The Foreign Office summoned Russia's ambassador to the UK over the matter.
