Rudy Farias speaks about being 'missing' for 8 years

For the first time, we're hearing directly from Rudy Farias, the Houston man who was found after being reported "missing" for eight years. Farias spoke with FOX 26's Matthew Seedorff about what he dealt with, living hidden for nearly a decade.

"If someone would come over, my mom would just tell me to stay in the room," Farias said. "Keep the door locked, don't let them in, don't make any noises."

"I would just have to listen to my family being happy and cheerful on the other side of a f****** door," Farias said. "I just want my family, I just want people, I just want communication."

"I just want to be happy, I don't want to keep going back to those negative thoughts she has on me," Farias said.
