Rose Reilly has told Sky News "the hurdles were always there, but I smashed them down" - reflecting on her journey towards becoming the World Cup winner and trailblazer for women’s football.

Ms Riley discussed how she changed her name to Ross and cut her hair to resemble the male gender, just so she could play football and expressed her happiness at Lionesses "getting the recognition that they deserve."
