We all have an idea of hell that makes our stomach lurch and legs buckle.

For some it might be the thought of being at the highest point of a rollercoaster ride and being told the power is being switched off - so you'll have to grip a handrail and use stairs to descend 214ft to the ground. While being buffeted by 60mph winds.

That's what happened to passengers on Blackpool's Big One after the ride was halted because of Storm Noa.
